Pinecone in resin pair scales for knifehandl or handmade

Pinecone preliminary stabilized in Cactus Juice and after casted in Alumilite resin

Some pinecone have hidden voids or cracks that may not be visible. If these become exposed I recommend filling with CA glue. Stabilizing pinecone does not fill cracks or voids. Casting with resin fills most of these cracks and voids. Even when casted under pressure sometimes voids occur.

sanded to 100 grit and coated with Danish oil
